What does the Blue Hand Wavespell hold in store for us?

Do you have a stirring to make manifest something that has been percolating in the deep recesses of your mind? A creative hunch, the spark of an idea, one that is driving you to translate the visual impression in your mind’s eye into something more meaningful and perhaps one you can make or create with your hands? In the Blue Hand wavespell, the powerful surge for self-expression and the energy that will assist you embody the creation that comes from having direct alignment to Source … is there. Leonardo Da Vinci once said: “Where the spirit does not work with the hand, there is no Art”.

Think of the power contained within our own hands, the power that offers us the ability to work with our hands in a practical and creative capacity, but also the power that heals. Hands sense, hands heal and hands create. To reach out selflessly to another and offer a ‘helping hand’ during this wavespell is an act of love in itself.

Look at the breath-taking image that accompanies this blog, a serene winged goddess in indigo blue offers her hands, palms upwards, in an action of openness and integrity; the colour signifying her spiritual awareness, insight and connection to higher consciousness. Intricate tattooed mandalas adorn her body, indicating the spiritual quest for harmony and wholeness within the human condition. Her hands emanate a glow of luminous light, the electromagnetic field surrounding the human form and visible to the clairvoyant eyes. There is perfection in the symmetry…because the energy of The Blue Hand offers us balance and steadiness.

Circular patterns represent wholeness and completion and the Blue Hand wavespell asks us “What is it you want to accomplish?” at the same time reminding us that unfinished work carries a theme of unfinished business and  a destiny unfulfilled. This wave calls you to finish what you started, whatever project or emotional issue awaiting closure, that may be. You may be moved in this wavespell toward healing resolutions to some of life’s most hurtful memories.  It is also well starred for collaborations or group work when the underlying drive and dedication will have a humanitarian impulse.

Blue Hand reminds us that the phenomenon of human touch can never be underestimated; whilst a basic human need, physical touch lets us know we are being cared for and supported. Our hands are alive with the vibration of connection, of our eternal link to the source of all energy.  When an infant falls and grazes a knee, a mother instinctively places her hand on the injured area, a combination of warmth and unconditional compassion flows through the hands and in a heartbeat, the child is up and running again. Pure and simple, it is energy and love at work in harmonious action. During this wavespell, undergoing (or learning about) any type of energy work, meditation involving hand mudras, chakra balancing and EFT tapping (which directly uses the hands) are all well starred.

And what of the power of prayer? That seemingly lost tradition of hands clasped in an action of reverence, practised for centuries in religious sects and cultures when ‘speaking’ to an unknowable source offered us some kind of direction and hope in healing our inner and outer worlds? Every day we are faced with the challenge of looking out onto a world full of injustice and imbalance, testing our limits as loving, rational people to the max. Prayer allows us to suspend our judgments and fears and ask for strength and compassion from a neutral place. I have always personally been comfortable with the idea of prayer; I see it as a means of speaking to the universe in a way that is meaningful and heart-centred. If nothing else during this wave, try offering a prayer of gratitude; this alone induces a powerful feeling of being part of something beautiful and all encompassing. You may be surprised at what follows…

"Our hands imbibe like roots, so I place them on what is beautiful in this world. And I fold them in prayer, and they draw from the heavens, light."

St. Francis of Assisi

With Saturn conjunct the North Node on April 21st, we are being asked to take a hard look at the quality of our emotional well- being. Although this planetary alignment offers us resilience and the strength to improve and grow, it also reminds us of the weightiness of our responsibilities. Blue Hand flags up issues of ‘taking on too much’, feeling pressured by external forces, scattering our energy too thin or lowering our vibration. You just know when your energy is out of alignment; the blue hand encourages you to see yourself as a tool of light.  So as the sun moves into Taurus season, that earthly sign brimming with sensuality, we are more acutely and sensitively aware of what our body is craving in the way of self-nourishment, nurture and care in order to not just survive…but thrive.

So

In this wavespell – go give yourself a hug! It really isn't silly. Hugging stimulates the release of Oxytocin and reduces stress. Experience for yourself, the healing power of touch.

Work with crystals such as Moonstone; Blue Quartz; Emerald; Green Aventurine; Blue Lace Agate; Girasol Quartz; Malachite, Pink Opal and Rhodonite. Carry them, wear them and have them sleep next to you.

"We are all connected. When you touch one thing, you are touching everything. Whatever we do has an effect on others. Therefore, we must learn to live mindfully to touch the peace inside each of us." -  Thich Nhat Hanh

Happy Hand Wavespell!

Jacky.
