Labradorite - Large Freeform

Some crystals are worth shouting about ... and this is one of them. The beauty of Labradorite never ceases to astound me!
This is a magical piece and the photograph is a literal replica of the beautiful deep blue flashes and peacock like colours in the stone. To me it is like witnessing the Aurora Borealis in its markings!
Labradorite was first discovered by Moravian missionaries to North America in 1770, although the lovely Innuit legend goes like this... A brave Innuit warrior struck the stone with his spear and created the Northern lights! Whatever its background, there is no disputing the ability of Labradorite to mimic the Aurora Borealis. 
Wearing or carrying Labradorite brings the fun and spontaneity into life, especially if you feel weighted down with responsibility. This stone will awaken a sense of adventure, sometimes for the first time.
