Labradorite - Cut and Hand Polished Freeform

I simply can't imagine anyone not liking Labradorite! I see so many shapes and stories in this exceptional stone its mesmerising!
Freeforms are wonderful 'irregularly' carved shapes and are often cut to enhance the stones most beautiful qualities. The front of this freeform really does have those exceptional bright blue and gold flashes in the stone!  It has been photographed from front and back of the piece. The back looks dark in the picture but I can assure you when you hold it, it comes to life.
Labradorite is one of my favourite stones with its beautiful peacock like colours, it really is a marvel. When I really look at some of the intricate markings on many of the pieces, it is like entering an enchanted forest. Labradorite was first discovered by Moravian missionaries to North America in 1770, although the lovely Innuit legend goes like this... A brave Innuit warrior struck the stone with his spear and created the Northern lights! Whatever its background, there is no disputing the ability of Labradorite to mimic the Aurora Borealis. Labradorite strengthens personal boundaries, assists astral travel and dispels negative energies. It is a good stone to have if you wish to work with and link to the Akashic records and for past life recall.Wearing or carrying Labradorite brings the fun and spontaneity into life, especially if you feel weighted down with responsibility.
