Fulfilling a long held dream, my first ‘physical’ shop, Magnetic Earth Studios opened in December 2012. Nestling in the heart of Cornwall’s mining heritage in Pool, Cornwall, Magnetic Earth boasts a fabulous collection of hand -picked crystals, polished stones, jewellery, hand- made gifts, a vibrant collection of scarves, decoupage, decorated gift boxes, greeting cards, fabulous Fairies and a personal collection of Mayan artistry and visionary art … There is always something to discover in this little gem of a shop.
2020 has seen a dramatic change in our everyday shopping habits, forcing many small businesses like my own to grow and evolve with the changing outlook. In a sense I am playing ‘catch up’ in offering an online shopping experience alongside my physical shop.
I have always personally loved and enjoyed the face-to-face contact that I have with the customers in the community, having developed a reputation for exemplary service, quality and affordability with a personal touch. I sincerely hope that I can translate that personal service to my online offering at Magnetic Earth.
